TCAT outreach continues
More chances to reshape Ithaca's transit system are coming.
Following up on Tuesday's session, TCAT is hosting two more public outreach meetings to gather rider ideas on improving local buses and the eRide curb-to-curb van service [Quelle: Finger Lakes Daily]. Water main repair, infrastructure push
Emergency crews fixed a water main break on Triphammer Road yesterday.
The City of Ithaca shut down traffic to one lane between Dearborn Place and Sisson Place on August 20 to repair a burst water main in the 100 block, with water service interrupted nearby during the work [Quelle: City of Ithaca]. The repair finished by 3:30 p.m., but it's part of a broader infrastructure push: the city also has ongoing sidewalk repairs on Linn Street and at West Green and South Cayuga, plus a sewer main replacement on East Buffalo Street underway.

Southern Tier housing grant awarded
New York State is funding housing infrastructure across the region.
